IT Support for Charity and Businesses in Maidstone, Kent.
We just had a video call with a new customer that we’re working with.
They’re a charity. Two charities, in fact that are closely connected. They work out of an office in Maidstone and they’re currently dissatisfied with their IT support company who seem to just charge them an invoice every time they have any kind of email or voice communication.
So costs are mounting up and they’re paying quite a lot of money with getting lots of different invoices every month for support, which is costing them quite a lot of money and they’re not getting good value, good service. So we’re working with them to help them clean up their domains because they have two different domains with various users getting various emails, which are a bit inefficient and it doesn’t allow them to be very agile when communicating with their clients and their own staff.
So we’re working to move their data over to Microsoft 365 properly on charity pricing, set up a Sharepoint folder for them so they can access store, retrieve documents in a more efficient manner and in a secure manner.
Also, it looks like we’re going to be taking over their IT support, which will provide them with unlimited IT support for a fixed monthly cost, which is something they don’t currently get. So just had a video call with them where we were just going through the process now. We’re going to be migrating all their data over at the end of the month so that all of their data ends up in their inbox is where it should be at the start of the new month, which of course is February.
We’re also going to be putting in some proper antivirus software for them and doing various other things for them just to clean it all up.
